The East Londoners head to Sutton United on Tuesday fresh from picking up a hard-fought point at Torquay on Saturday.
It extended their unbeaten run to eight matches and raised hopes of a push for promotion back to League Two.
The point at Plainmoor was more evidence of further progress and when asked if he’d be happy with the same again midweek, Taylor was crystal clear about his side’s approach.
“We’ll be talking on Monday to try and beat Sutton. It’s a simple as that”, he told the club’s YouTube channel.
“Every team that we play against we prepare to try and win.
“If it means then that you work extremely hard, get a clean sheet and get a nil-nil draw it is still a very, very good performance.”
Taylor’s troops will arrive at Gander Green Lane full of confidence and looking to stretch unbeaten run.
The Daggers were slow out of the blocks this season, losing three of their opening four, but have not looked back since turning over Harrogate Town 4-2 back in August.
And two clean sheets in their last three matches has helped them climb into the final play-off spot with more than a quarter of the season done and dusted.
But Taylor insists that its his side’s performances that give him the most pleasure.
“I think we are on a good run,” he explained.
“We are now eight matches unbeaten but I think the performances are good.
“To me the most pleasing thing is that we are playing some nice football as well. I can’t ask for anymore.”
