Curry On Order For Harrogate

Harrogate Town have completed the loan signing of striker Mitchell Curry from SkyBet Championship side Middlesbrough.

The 18-year-old joins the club on an initial month`s loan deal, and will be eligible to play tomorrow when York City visit The CNG Stadium.

Curry signed a professional contract with Boro in October 2016 and has featured heavily in the under-23 set-up at The Riverside.

Assistant-manager Paul Thirlwell said: “He’s a very high energy player, a strong, powerful runner who can stretch teams.

“We watched him playing for Middlesborough under-23’s and he has scored a lot of goals there and now comes in for a month to give us a boost in an area of the pitch we need it.

“He’s a great lad who is hungry to get game time and to be around the first team, which is an opportunity we can give him here”.
