Cundy Extends Tigers Stay

Vanarama National League North club Gloucester City have confirmed.

....that they have extended the loan deal of central defender Robbie Cundy from Sky Bet League Two side Oxford United until the end of the season.

Cundy has impressed since joining the Tigers on loan from the Kassam in December and manager Tim Harris has been pleased with his impact.

Harris said: “Robbie has done really well for us since he’s come in just before the FC United game and he put in a good performance.

“He has continued those good showings and results have really picked up with him partnering Sam Avery at centre back.

“To that end we are very pleased to have secured Robbie’s services until the end of the season and we are grateful to Oxford United for this.”

Cundy will stay with the Tigers until the end of the season but Oxford have the option to recall him at 24-hours` notice.
