Crowd Pleasers! Who Pulled In The Most This Tuesday?

By Sam Elliott

So it appears that you guys really have been missing your football over the past three months!

If Saturday’s crowds were very encouraging, Tuesday night’s were pretty incredible. No fewer than five games over our three divisions saw attendance register in excess of 3,000.

That’s some going. While the National League North stole the show on the opening day, the top four was all the National League in midweek.

We’re all keen to know who are filling their stands and which sides could do with a few more putting their head around the door.

So we record the top ten crowds whenever there is a full programme to see whose turnstiles are really clicking.

At the end of August we will once again publish our unique attendance tables from all three divisions.

August 7 - top ten National League attendances:

1: Wrexham v AFC Fylde 5,777
2: Chesterfield v Aldershot 4,930
3: Leyton Orient v Ebbsfleet 4,710
4: Hartlepool United v Harrogate 3,623
5: York City v Stockport County 3,218
6: Torquay v Bath City 2,151
7: Kidderminster v AFC Telford 1,778
8: Spennymoor v Darlington 1,768
9: Sutton United v Eastleigh 1,725
10: Woking v St Albans 1,671
