Crowd Pleasers! The Weekend's National League Attendances

By Sam Elliott

We’re all take part in spot of attendances watching. Whether it’s checking to see if form is being met with a reaction through the gates or if it’s to check up on your rivals, we all like to see who is pulling in how many punters!

It’s a part of football we all keep a close eye on - so who did what when it comes to crowds this weekend?

The three divisions again saw thousands flock with the sun still shining the football was the only place to be.

The battle for attendance supremacy took an interesting turn on Saturday.

Wrexham, the best supported side so far this season, played second fiddle to Leyton Orient, who recorded their best gate for quite some time as over 5,500 watched them beat Barnet. It was nearly 1,000 up on what the Red Dragons had at their home game with Ebbsfleet.

If you love your attendances, stay with us this week. We've been re-starting our unique Attendance Tables - keep your eyes on the site for the North and South stats!
