Crowd Pleasers! The Top Attendances On New Year’s Day

As expected, New Year’s Day saw the crowds flock to get their first taste of football in 2018.

There were may season-best attendances recorded in all three National League divisions.

Again the National League North features strongly in our list of top ten gates.

Three have made it in with Salford, York City and Kidderminster enjoying genuine pulling power for their local matches.

The South may not have charted, but 1,600+ at Chelmsford v Braintree and Dartford v Welling prove the division is well watched.

There was also four figures at Bognor, who played Havant, and in the Herts derby game between Hemel and St Albans City.

Here are the top ten attendances from New Year’s Day.
