Crowd Pleasers! The Top Attendances From This Weekend

By Sam Elliott

We knew the National League was good, but it seems supporters are voting with their feet!

Crowds shot up again this weekend and for the first time this season every single one in the clubs in the top ten attended games exceeded 2,000.

Helped of course by two well-watched FA Trophy semi-final ties at Wealdstone and at Gateshead, it was the best week yet for bumper gates.

In fact, all but one of the National League fixtures were watched by four-figure crowds - with just Barrow, who haven’t won at home in ten games, falling just short.

In the National League North, an incredible and identical stat. All but one of the league’s games were watched by over 1,000 supporters.

To celebrate, we’re putting together our unique attendance tables later this week for all three leagues so if you love your facts and figures, keep an eye on the website and social media.
