Crowd Pleasers! The Top Attendances From This Weekend

By Sam Elliott

We’re often transfixed by attendances. Whether it’s checking to see if form is being met with a reaction through the gates or if it’s to check up on your rivals, we all like to see who is pulling in how many punters!

The turnstiles have certainly been clicking lately, so we thought it was about time we put our information into a table once again.

This weekend so close to 5,000 watch Wrexham in action against FC Halifax - but it wasn’t the desired result as the Shaymen again performed in front of s crowd to take a 1-1 draw home.

Around 750 Tranmere fans travelled to Leyton Orient to really boost the Brisbane Road gate, while York and FC United both enjoyed great crowds this weekend.

York beat league leaders Salford and 3,366 watched - the third highest overall.

Here’s the top ten attendances from around the grounds - we’ll be supplying the National League North and South attendance tables later this week.
