Cox: There Is Plenty To Build On At Guiseley

In his first game in charge Paul Cox saw his side gain a point against Eastleigh at home.

Paul Cox says he liked aspects of what he saw from his first match managing the Lions, writes Tom Feaheny.

They drew 0-0 at Nethermoor Park, with Cox saying there is a bigger process then just the next few games.

"It is the start of a journey for this club, we take positives from the draw, I have asked a lot from the players from just two sessions.

"There will be ups and downs but that is the process we will go through, we just need to take it a game at a time right now."

Cox was pleased to have gained the point against a side like Eastleigh.

"It's a point against a good team, our decision making needs a bit of work but that will come for us."

He next travels to his old side Barrow and when reflecting on his time there he said.

"I enjoyed my time at Barrow, I have good memories from my time at that club, I look forward to going back."
