Cox Goes Back To Barrow For Midfielder

Guiseley AFC manager Paul Cox has been re-united with Alex-Ray Harvey after returning to his former club Barrow AFC to sign the midfielder.

The 26-year-old was born in Burnley and joined the Claret’s centre of excellence as a youngster.

He earned his first professional contract in the summer of 2009 and played regularly for the reserves.

Harvey was loaned out to Fleetwood Town in March 2011 and again in August 2011.

He joined Barrow initially on a month`s loan in January 2012 and made his debut in a defeat at Fleetwood.

On returning to Burnley at the end of the loan in mid-April and he was released by the Turf Moor outfit in May 2012.
He joined Barrow permanently in August 2012 and made 214 appearances for the Bluebirds.
