Cox Admits Guiseley Transition Will Take Time

By Tom Feaheny

Guiseley announced last week they had started the transition of going full-time with Paul Cox saying he knows it will take time.

Guiseley made it two league games unbeaten after a 0-0 draw against Boreham Wood, this was after they defeated Solihull Moors, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We are a team in transition, changes have been made, we still have a few players who are out injured, we will just get on with it," Cox said.

"We are facing a different kind of test each game, we are harder to beat, I'm an impatient person but I know it will take a bit of time to get it all ready."

Reflecting on the point gained at Nethermoor Park, Cox said it was different from their previous matches.

"It was a bit of a strange game, we just didn’t seem to get going, for us playing at home, we didn’t work their keeper enough but it is a clean sheet and four points from those two games is something we’d have taken."
