Cousins: Daggers Vs Shots Game Is Crucial For Both

Dag and Red host Aldershot Town tomorrow afternoon with the game live on BT Sport 1, with coverage starting at 5PM.

The Daggers find themselves five points away from the play-off places after losing their last three matches in the Vanarama National League, writes Tom Feaheny.

"With 15 games to go we know it’s still possible to make the play offs, but our form has to change if that’s going to be achieved," Cousins said.

"Tomorrows match is crucial for everyone at Dagenham, for us players getting 3 points would be a huge boost for club.

"Aldershot are a good footballing team and we will need to be at our best to get a result."

Cousins has been with the side for the past four seasons and says this is the most competitive campaign yet in terms of who may with this league.

"I think the league this season has been tight due to a lot of teams being quite evenly matched in terms of quality, hence why there’s no one team running away at the top.

"I don’t think it’s possible to call a team that will win the league or even who will make the play offs. It’s been frustrating knowing that if our form was better we would comfortably be in the play offs right now."
