Coombes Returns To Wings On A Permanent Basis

Welling United have re-signed striker Adam Coombes from National League side Sutton United in a permanent deal that will keep the prolific striker at Park View Road until May 2020.

Twenty-six-year-old Coombes hit the headlines last season when scoring over 30 goals for the Wings in less than a season, including a double hat-trick in the Emirates FA Cup which featured a strike that appeared in the BBC FA Cup goal of the season competition.

Coombes will go straight into the squad to face East Thurrock United tomorrow.
