Tonight the Tartan Army open Euro 2024 as they face the daunting prospect of the hosts in Germany.
Steve Clarke’s team qualified in style and have high hopes of creating history by getting out of the group this summer.
Bath fans will be looking to see if Tommy Conway mates the line up, their former player forcing his way into the manager’s players after a brilliant season for Bristol City.
His old boss Jerry Gill will certainly be tuning in tonight. He played on loan at Twerton Park three seasons and made a lasting impression.
“We knew quite a bit about Tommy, not only his ability, but his personality and character,” the Romans boss told the Sun.
"We like old-school values. If he hadn't had those he wouldn't have been anywhere near us.
“He was so mature. He scored in the opening minutes of his debut and never looked back.
“Tommy has a real humility about him and to see a young man who'd been playing at our level a few seasons ago have a chance of playing in the Euros makes me and our club very proud.
“I'm sure if he gets his chance in Germany on Friday night then he'll take it.
"I'll watch Scotland at the Euros with a lot more interest than I would have done!"
