Connor Brown says the exciting plans in place with Adam Lockwood's side made it an easy decision to re-sign with the club., writes Tom Feaheny
The defender played a vital role in the Lions staying in the National League last season
"It feels nice to be back, after the roller coaster of the previous campaign. I enjoyed it, I have spoken to Adam Lockwood and there are big plans in place, I am up for the challenge."
"The form from last season was good for us at times, we went on a good run as well, we know what we did right and with the players that are coming in, I hope that can result in us climbing up the table."
Brown set out what he wants to achieve this campaign.
"Clean sheets are a mine thing for me but as many wins as possible is all that matters for the lads now."
With a fortnight until the season gets underway, Brown says he can't wait for it all to begin.
"I'm looking forward to it all starting, where the points are on the line, the atmosphere is up for us and we can show what we are made of in the division."
