The highly-rated attacker has been sidelined since February after a serious knee injury clipped the wings of a seemingly unstoppable player in fantastic form.
Rovers have missed his spark as they have struggled in the Vanarama National League - but the days are ticking down to his big return.
Tollitt is keeping the comeback date quiet but he reassured the fans that there will be no holding back once he is on that team sheet.
"I have a game in mind that I'll be back," he said. "I'll be playing in a behind closed doors game at the training ground leading up to it so I'm ready.
"If I had it my way I'd of been playing a few weeks ago but the physio here is good and is holding me back because he knows the injury inside out. He has my best interests at heart.
"Being back involved in training properly has been class. I've loved it. Being out for a long period of time makes you realise how much you take football for granted so I'm enjoying every minute of it. Even when I'm being kicked, I'm loving it!
"There won't be any fear from me when I'm back. If I think about it too much I will over-compensate and not be playing like I normally do which isn't good for many reasons but secondly, there won't be any fear because I feel really good.
"I don't feel scared or worried. The work I've done has put me in a good physical condition. My GPS scores in training are very good and in some days better than before I was injured!"
Rovers face Wrexham this weekend craving some kind of consistency.
They have won just once in four games and still can't break into the top half of the table.
Fans hope Tollitt's return will bring with it an upturn in fortune.
"I don't know about me turning the season around but I'll definitely be wanting to help contribute towards us getting back up to where we belong," said the winger.
"There is no doubt at all that the club shouldn't be in this position."
