Collier: Chippenham Enjoying National League South

Chippenham Town made it three games unbeaten in the league and picked up their first home win the process for the season after beating Oxford City 3-2.

Mark Collier says his side showed what they can achieve in the league after picking up another three points and moving up to 11th, writes Tom Feaheny.

Speaking after the win had been secured he told the club's website.

"We had a tough game on Saturday, made changes but we kept going, we were able to get them three points and that makes it three games unbeaten.

"On Saturday we are 2-0 up and concede and all of a sudden it is 2-2, it was the same as last week, we could have six points in the last two matches instead of two, but it is so important we were able to get that win."

When looking at the depth of the squad and potential changes, Collier predicts there will be some changes coming up.

"We have some good players here, we would expect more in and more out, we have enjoyed that opening month for us, we have a good set of lads."

They next face Eastbourne Borough who match their points total, with Collier knowing their playing surface is something they will have to get used to.

"It is a 3G pitch, we haven't trained on one yet, we would like to before the game on Saturday, so we are used to it, I would like us to be all guns blazing for that game."
