Coasters Take Bolton Goalkeeper On `Work Experience`

By Steve Whitney

AFC Fylde have taken promising goalkeeper James Aspinall on `work experience` from SkyBet Championship side Bolton Wanderers.

The 18-year-old, who hails from Chorley, has come through the academy ranks at Bolton and is currently in his second year as a scholar.

Aspinall has featured for both the under-18s and the development squad this term, saving a penalty earlier in the season in a victory over Charlton Athletic.

The young stopper was also included in the first-team squad during pre-season.

Aspinall will be available to Coasters` manager Dave Challinor for tomorrow’s trip to Maidenhead United.
