FC Halifax are determined to make a difference and Captain Sam Johnson was joined by team-mates Billy Waters, Jack Evans, Zak Emmerson and Florent Hoti as well as the management team as they swung by children’s ward at Calderdale Royal Hospital.
Woking had a record-breaking Christmas - their festive project raising over £5,150 for the Woking Food Bank.
The club’s players and staff also carried out their annual visits to St Peter’s Hospital and the Royal Surrey County Hospital.
Striker Dipo Akinyemi said it was fantastic to be a part of York City’s attempts to make Christmas that little bit easier for people across the city.
He joined team-mates at York District Hospital and said: “Being here always brings you down to earth. Sometimes we complain but we have to be thankful that we are healthy and in good spirits. I’m happy that I got to do my part in making the kids good and in the Christmas spirit.”
Last week, Yeovil Town visited the Children’s Ward at Yeovil Hospital, having plenty of fun with the poorly patients and delivering plenty of toys for the children.
Aldershot Town’s team also visit the Children’s Wards at two local hospitals and give out presents to the children spending time there over Christmas.
Members of the first-team visited Frimley Park Hospital and Royal Surrey County Hospital as part of the Shots Foundation’s Christmas Initiatives.
Members of Tonbridge Angels men’s and women’s squads headed to the children's wards of Tunbridge Wells Hospital to deliver festive gifts.
