Twenty-four-year-old Hitchcock trialled with SkyBet League Two side Port Vale in January 2017 following his release from MK Dons having just signed for National League side Boreham Wood.
Hitchcock is yet to prove himself at National League South level, however the Blackburn Rovers’ youth player counts Queens Park Rangers, Bristol Rovers, Rotherham United and Stevenage as his previous clubs.
The son of former Chelsea shot-stopper Kevin Hitchcock made seventeen appearances on-loan at Bristol Rovers and found the net three times, while during his seven-game spell at Rotherham United he netted five times.
Hitchcock came on as a 63rd minute substitute in Monday`s 2-1 defeat against East Thurrock United.
