Bevans made a dozen appearances for Oxford United in the 2013/14 season having joined the development squad in July 2013.
The former Watford defender, who played thirteen times on loan with Chesham United whilst on the Hornets books, signed a new contract with The U’s in May 2014 to remain at the club for a further year.
But he was released by the Sky Bet League Two neighbours in May and signed for Wealdstone in August.
He was sent out on loan to Farnborough, where he had spent a month the previous season before returning in October.
He made nine appearances for the Stones but has been training with City for a couple of weeks now and could feature in the home league fixture against Hemel Hempstead Town on Saturday.
