Chorley Pick Up Young Latics Duo

Chorley have announced the signings of central midfielder Josh Gregory and striker James Barrigan from SkyBet League One side Wigan Athletic.
Barrigan (pictured) made three first-team appearances after progressing through the academy and, like Gregory, who is also an academy graduate, was part of the Latics side which reached the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup in 2016 before losing Manchester City at the DW Stadium.
Twenty-year-old Barrigan and 19-year-old Josh Gregory both join the Magpies on non-contract terms and will add more strength to the squad in the final fifteen games of the 2017/18 season.
Earlier this season, Barrigan spent time on loan with Evo-Stik League Premier side Warrington Town.
