Chesterfield And Their Title Rivals Just Won’t Be Silenced!

Chesterfield continue to power on - but the chasing pack refuse to let them scamper off into the distance.

The Spireites’ 3-1 win at Kidderminster earned their 44th point even before November has arrived. Ollie Banks was at the double. It was the leaders 13th straight victory in all competitions.

But Barnet refuse to be brushed aside and left Oxford City with a 2-0 win, Callum Stead helping himself to two goals.

Don’t discount Bromley - they are great at home but are getting results away too. A 1-0 win at Woking was earned by Ayodeji Elerewe as they successfully returned to the scene of last year’s play-off heroics.

Striker Josh Kelly hit the crucial goal as contenders Solihull Moors defeated Wealdstone, who still can’t win away.

Dorking Wanderers paid for the away fans beers but Aldershot needed to drown their sorrows - Jamie Muitt ended the visitors’ three game winning run.

Elsewhere it was a great day for Tonbridge Angels - they enjoyed their long trip to Truro City after Lewis Gard’s penalty winner.
