Chester Need Results Says New Boss Bignot

By David Richardson

Marcus Bignot knows his struggling Chester side must get results whether they are playing well or not ahead of Saturday's big clash at Tranmere Rovers.

The Blues were beaten 2-0 at home against Woking on Tuesday night to leave them still in the bottom four.

It was Bignot's first defeat as Chester manager and he's adamant that they need to start picking up results going forward.

"We've got to learn to win football matches in different ways," he said. "We have to get the mentality right in the group that if we're not playing well then we make sure we don't lose football matches.

"Moving forward this group has to learn very quickly that it's all about results.

"We owe it to the supporters to put in a performance which suggest we can go and get a result. We have to go to Tranmere in a positive mood and manner and come away with something."
