Charman Makes Surprise Return To Bognor Regis

Bognor Regis Town fans received a late and unexpected Christmas present - the return of midfielder Gary Charman.

Charman has re-joined the Rocks four months after making a surprise switch to re-join his former Bognor boss Jamie Howell at Eastbourne Borough, that after being told he was unlikely to force his way into the first-team.

Charman originally joined the Rocks start of the season 2015/16 from Horsham.

Charman, who played and managed at Horsham for many years, made thirty-four starts for the Rocks plus forty appearances from the bench, scoring 7 goals in the process.

He cannot play in today's big home clash with Havant & Waterlooville but is likely to be in the squad for next Saturday's basement battle at Whitehawk.

He is not cup-tied for the Buildbase FA Trophy, so could feature against Leyton Orient the following Saturday.
