Challinor's Points Target To Finish In The Play-Offs

AFC Fylde defeated Dover Athletic with boss Dave Challinor saying another 21 points from now should be enough to get them into the top seven places for the end of the season.

After coming back from a goal down, they secured another big victory as they remain in the play-off places on goal difference, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We knew our movement would have to be good to break them down, in the end that was the case," Challinor told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"The group knew what would be coming up, we got some joy from the way we played, we didn't tear them to pieces but we did enough to get the job done.

"Getting the third goal was key, it ended the match as a contest."

Challinor says he has a certain points total in mind, when it comes to what they need to be in the play-offs at the end of the season.

"I think we know what we need to do to get in the play-offs 7 wins from now should be enough to be in them places."
