Challinor Wants Fylde Momentum To Be Kept On Track

Dave Challinor says his AFC Fylde side need to keep their focus as they look to finish in the play-offs.

The Coasters didn't play this weekend due to their match being postponed and due to Dover Athletic winning, they are now out of the top seven places, by two points, writes Tom Feaheny.

They next face another side going for promotion in Aldershot Town tomorrow.

“Momentum can stop as quickly as it starts so it doesn’t matter when the next game comes," Challinor told the club's website.

"It is a massive game facing Aldershot, we have prepared all week for it and are ready."

Their game on Saturday against Torquay United was called off and Challinor says the early postponement can help the side this week.

“With the number of games that were already been called off, it was inevitable that ours would be.

"It helped that it was called off well in advance we have been able to properly prepare for this week."
