Challinor: Game Management Key To Fylde's Away Win

Dave Challinor says his side once again put in the performance that warranted a victory.

The Coasters went back into the play-off places thanks to a 2-1 win at Gateshead with Danny Rowe getting both goals, writes Tom Feaheny.

"The way we managed the game was crucial, I thought we could have got the third goal to end it but it is an important win," Challinor told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"There was a bit of frustration with the fact we have conceded but it was an important three points for the group."

With another victory secured, Challinor says they have a clear aim in mind for where they want to be when the season is finishing.

"The aim is the play-offs and performances and results like this puts us in a good place to go for it.

"We have to take it a game at a time and see what happens but the signs are there we can do it."
