Challinor Calls For Coasters To Move On From Off-Day

AFC Fylde boss Dave Challinor says his side got what they deserved after a 2-0 loss against Dag & Red.

The result means the Coasters now have to ensure this doesn't happen again as they look to get a play-off place, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I thought we were poor, we were toothless and it was a bit of an off-day," Challinor told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"Too many of them were not at it, it really was one of those days for us."

"I thought there were organised and their forwards were a handful."

Challinor says whatever happens these remaining games will be significant.

"Ultimately we will keep going it is another challenge for us, even if we don't get the play-offs, we have players competing for next season."
