Carnell Leaves The Reds

Goalkeeper Dave Carnell has left FC United of Manchester, having played 151 times between 2014 and 2017.

Carnell stepped up and made the number one jersey his own in early 2014 with some great performances which formed part of United's amazing run in the final few months of that season.

From a family of goalkeepers, he proved he was the best around by being named in the 2014/15 team of the year.

Originally with Curzon Ashton, he moved across Tameside to join Stalybridge Celtic in November 2009 and then to neighbours Hyde United in the summer of 2010.

He returned to Curzon in December 2013 and then switched to United in January 2014.
