The Cards have returned to the National League South for the first time in six years.
They lost their fight to remain in the division following defeat to Dover Athletic on the final day of the season.
Woking are looking for a manager after parting company with Anthony Limbrick towards the end of the season. Coach Jason Goodliffe took over, but he couldn’t prevent the club sliding out of the National League.
Now director of football Geoff Chapple has told Get Surrey that there is no shortage of interest in the job of taking the club back up.
“We have had around 115 applications even though we didn’t advertise," the club's three-time FA Trophy winning manager told the website.
“We have narrowed it down to six and I would say that Jason Goodliffe is among them. We want to find the man who is the best fit.
“We will be open and honest in the interviews, and transparent.
“The board members will be given the CVs of all six and together we will choose the one we want. We will have a competitive side out next season, there’s no doubt."
