Cards Boss Dowson Has A New Way To Deal With Injuries

Alan Dowson knows there’s only one way to solve Woking’s injury issues - running 100 laps of the club’s pitch!

The Cards boss has always gone the extra mile to top up the budget of whatever club he’s been in charge of.

Now he will get his running shoes on to try and get two of his key players back on the pitch.

Christian Jolley and Kane Ferdinand's rehab is ongoing and Dowson is desperate to get them on his team sheet again.

He has already raised over £1,000 in sponsorship and is determined to keep the cash coming in so he can get the pair back as soon as possible.

“We’ve really struggled with ongoing injuries and the club have offered great support throughout but I really want to do that little bit myself to help Christian and Kane get moving forward as quickly as possible,” he said.

“The quicker we can get them back the greater our chance of doing well as the season moves on.

“Doing 100 laps will be a stretch but I hope some fans will come down and my aim is to raise £3,000.

“Every donation will make a difference and go fully to the cause.”

The Cards are very much in the National League South title race but dropped two points at home to Chelmsford City on Saturday.
