Cameras Roll! DAZN Back For Another Electric Weekend

By Sam Elliott

The DAZN cameras are being switched back on for another crucial weekend at both ends of the Vanarama National League table.

The broadcaster heads to Tamworth’s Lamb Ground on Saturday for another enhanced match, where promotion-hunting FC Halifax Town look to keep their top seven spot with clubs around them gaining fast.

Tamworth take centre stage for the first time since pushing Tottenham Hotspur all the way, pictured.

What next in the title race? Well Oldham Athletic and striker Mike Fondop Talom refuse to believe it's only a three-horse race.

Important back-to-back wins has kept the Latics in touch, but they need those above them to wobble.

Barnet are showing no signs of that but they are due at Boston United, who managed to put their championship rivals York City in their place just a few weeks ago.

The Minstermen responded to that blow and on Saturday they come face-to-face with former manager Neal Ardley, who has made sure Woking are no longer the easy touch they often were towards the end of 2024.

Forest Green Rovers answered some questions at Dagenham in midweek and closed the gap to four points. Tomorrow they welcome an Eastleigh side who have lost their last three in all competitions.

With the weeks already ticking down, every point could be precious in the battle for a play-off place.

Gateshead are looking to take one of them, holding a seven-point lead over those sitting outside. The Heed go to Wealdstone, while Rochdale will want to bounce back from their midweek home loss to rivals Oldham by winning defeating Ebbsfleet United.

Altrincham want one as well, but Braintree Town have their own agenda down the bottom and travel up undefeated in four.

Hartlepool United have announced a change in their management set-up, with Lennie Lawrence stepping back from his role with Anthony Limbrick becoming head coach.

His first test is at Sutton United, who have had an encouraging start to the New Year and are back to within a point of the play-offs.

The sides down the bottom are getting twitchy. Maidenhead United have lost three of their last four and Southend United travel to Berkshire tomorrow.

AFC Fylde earned a much-needed win at Halifax in midweek but need to follow that up at Aldershot Town in a battle of the two teams just above the bottom four.

Elsewhere, Dagenham & Redbridge host 14th place Yeovil Town with both teams needing to get a winning run together if they want to be in the play-off conversation come May.
