Byrne Follows Well-Worn Path To Brackley

Vanarama National League North club Brackley Town have confirmed the signing of former Solihull Moors midfielder Jack Byrne.

Byrne played eighty-five games for Solihull over the last two seasons, scoring 9 goals and was voted players’ player of last season.

He joined Moors after five seasons at Kidderminster Harriers where he made 164 appearances, scoring 28 goals and contested the Conference (National League) Premier play-offs. He was previously at Redditch United.

Byrne is manager Kevin Wilkin’s fourth new signing of the pre-season and the fourth to join from Solihull Moors, joining Gareth Dean, James Armson and Adam Walker at St James`s Park, all having been part of Moors' double-winning side of 2015/16, that won both the National League North and the Birmingham Senior Cup.
