Busy Night Ahead As Promotion Hopefuls Lock Horns

There's a big National League night of action coming up later tonight as two sides gunning for promotion meet each other.

Both Oldham and York have games in hand on the sides around them and both know a win could do wonders for their promotion hopes.

The Latics know a win could help them make up some precious ground on the top three. But York will be desperate to give their away form a boost with a win that could also see them go within a point of leaders Forest Green.

In the National League North, six of the top eight sides are in action with leaders Kidderminster Harriers looking to pull away from the chasing pack.

Phil Brown's side host Darlington - but Chester are snapping at their heals. A win for the Blues over Spennymoor would be their fourth win in a row.

After seven games without a defeat, Scunthorpe are looking for a first win in three but Brackley are the visitors at the Attis Arena and have won their last three on the road.

Almost three weeks have passed since Oxford City's last league outing - their 2-0 defeat on New Year's Day to Brackley.

Ross Jenkins will be desperate for their form of the back end of 2024 to return - but a trip to promotion chasers Chorley will be a tough test.

Boreham Wood have only dropped two National League South points since the end of November and welcome Hampton & Richmond to Meadow Park.

Leaders Torquay know they can stretch their legs at the top - a win for Paul Wotton's side at Slough Town could see them go even more clear.

Chesham are fresh off ending Maidstone's incredible away streak and host Chelmsford City tonight - with the Stones heading to bottom side Weymouth.

Farnborough need a win against Salisbury to resurrect their play-off hopes. Borough are winless - and without a single goal - in five league games.

Chippenham fans haven't seen a win at Hardenhuish Park since early November. Worthing are bang in-form and are the Bluebirds' visitors this evening.
