Busy Day Of Ins And Outs - Especially At Salford City!

As usual on Friday there’s a fair chuck of transfer activity across the National League divisions.

But at Salford City it’s been busier than anywhere!

The Ammies have moved to sign 18-year-old midfielder Dennis Politic on loan from Bolton until January.

But a number have players have been allowed to go the other way in search of match minutes.

Defender James Jones has joined National League North side Boston United for a month.

Striker Mani Dieseruvwe will also play in that division for a similar amount of time after agreeing to join Chester’s push for promotion under former City managers Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley.

Midfielder Nick Haughton has meanwhile signed for AFC Fylde for an undisclosed fee.

Haughton told the Coaster’s website: “I had some good times at Salford, it’s been difficult for me this season, but I am happy to be joining a club that is going places, the facilities and the ground here are really good.

“Add to that the team are doing well in the league and it feels like a perfect fit.

“I would really like to help and bring in a few goals, I scored a few last season at Chorley so hopefully, I can replicate that form.”
