Burman Thrilled As Dartford Go Back To Top

Dartford boss Tony Burman praised the ruthlessness of his side after they went back to first in the National League South table.

A 4-1 victory against Gloucester City saw the Darts go back to top on goal difference, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I was delighted with the result and performance this week especially after Truro," Burman told the club's website.

"The players reacted very well to the loss last week. We played against a good footballing side in Gloucester City and they caused us problems, but I thought we were ruthless in front of goal, and deserved the three points.”

The side have also been given the boost knowing Andy Pugh and Tom Murphy are back in the squad for the match tomorrow night against Wealdstone.
