Burman Praises His Top Of The Table Dartford Side

Dartford boss Tony Burman says his side deserved all the credit as they moved two points clear at top.

A 4-1 win against Welling United ensured they started the new year in the best way possible, writes Tom Feaheny.

"It was a difficult festive period so to come out of it top of the league is very pleasing," Burman told the club's Soundcloud account.

"I'm really pleased with the performance, you can see the positives there and we need to keep it going.

"The last two weeks have tested the fitness of the squad and they are all making big contributions.

"The group is in a good position, we have depth and that will be very important for the next months."
