Burman: Dartford Need To Learn From Mistakes

Dartford boss Tony Burman says his side know they had a chance of leaving Chippenham with a win after their 2-2 draw.

Dartford remain top of the table by three points after an Alfie Pavey double had twice put them in front, writes Tom Feaheny.

”We still created enough chances but unfortunately they were either saved by the keeper or cleared off the line. Having said that our opponents also had a couple of chances that forced Del into good saves," Burman told the club's website.

"I think the most disappointing factor of the game was that if you take the lead away from home you should keep it, our opponents equalised soon after half time and to be fair to the players they once again showed the character to take the lead for a second time.

At the end of the day we have scored two goals away from home and if you do that we should be taking all three points, once again we come away with just the one and hopefully learn by our mistakes. I would like to thank everyone that made the journey to give the team their support.”
