Burgess Looking Forward To Loan Move

Bury midfielder Scott Burgess says he is “looking forward to the season” following his move to Macclesfield on loan for the 2017/18 National League season.

The 19-year-old has been with Bury since 2013, and scored twice in fourteen appearances last season.

He told the Silkmen`s official website: “It’s all going great. It’s good to finally be here now. I'm in training and settled in now I’m just looking forward to the season starting and the games coming in.

“I spoke to the manager at Bury and when the move came around I was keen to join and get the game time. That’s what it’s all about, getting regular games this season.

“Obviously I had a taste of regular football with Bury last season and I’m looking forward to this season, looking to build on that.

“It’s a lower level but it’s still a very tough league and I’m sure I’ll gain a lot of experience with it and it’ll help me move forward in my career. The manager at Bury told me to go out on loan for this season, to get the experience and play regular games”.
