Bulls’ New Boy Has What’s Needed To Move Back Up

By Sam Elliott

Marc Richards thinks newboy Rhys Davies has just the right attitude to go far at Hereford.

The Bulls head coach has made the left-back his latest capture after the 19-year-old left Shrewsbury Town.

Richards have spoken to the club’s website and let fans in on the teenager’s desire to club back up the ladder.

The National League North club have had a productive summer as they look to make an impression in their second season in the division.

“Rhys has got a great career in front of him, he’s a young lad who has already amassed a decent amount of games at this level and he’s really hungry to come and succeed,” he said.

“He showed a great attitude when I met with him a couple of weeks ago and he’ll hopefully be a decent addition to the squad.”

Davies told the website: “I’m coming here to play, just because I’m a young boy, some people might think I’m not going to play every week, but my aim is to be the best player every single week.

“I want to be playing week in week out, I want to be having massive impacts on games.”
