Bulls Edging Closer To That Elusive Win Reckons Richards

Marc Richards believes his Hereford players are getting really close to turning a corner.

Former Gloucester City boss Richards took over a side badly out of form two weeks ago today.

They may have limped out of the FA Cup but on Saturday showed real National League North promise in his first league game at the helm.

The 1-1 draw at Stockport County represented progress for the new Bulls boss, whose side have not won a game since beating Leamington on August 14.

He feels they are getting closer to putting that right after seeing Stockport deny them ten minutes from time.

“The players are really taking on board what I want to put across to them,” the new manager said.

“I’m really pleased with what they’re doing and how they have reacted in these past few weeks.

“On Saturday we were gutted not to come away with three points. We played well, but it wasn’t quite enough to win it.

“We’re not far away. You can see we’re getting nearer but it will come.”
