“It’s been a while since we kept a clean sheet - we actually wrote that on the board before the game. We used to be good at that, we kept six or seven at one point.
“We know our away form is in the spotlight and rightly so, so it was pleasing to come away from a tough place in difficult conditions. It was a match for battling qualities, and we showed that.
“It’s a solid away victory and we showed the side to our game that you need to.”
