Filipov joined up with the Seagulls during pre-season, before finally receiving international clearance in September.
In his time with the club, he netted on one occasion, scoring in a 2-1 defeat at Ebbsfleet United on September 22nd.
Commenting on the Bulgarian’s departure, Weston boss Ryan Northmore said: “It’s for the best that we go our separate ways. Tsvetan came to this country in search of full-time football, it’s not worked out for him.
“He is a very talented player and I hope he goes on to do well. Opportunities to play with us have been limited because the likes of Jake Mawford and Brad Ash have been performing well and fighting hard to keep their shirt.
“We also have Danny Wring who is nearing full fitness and I expect Dayle will want in on team selection when he is fit so competition in that particular position is healthy”, concluded Northmore.
