Bucks Looks To Bounce Back And Silence Chester

Chester manager Anthony Johnson may have launched an impassioned plea to Chester fans this week but his AFC Telford counterpart has warned there won’t be any rolling over this weekend.

Johnson’s message to fans on the club’s official website was geared at gaining extra support over the crucial Christmas period.

They welcome the Bucks on Saturday as their title charge continues to build momentum.

The joint boss wants added noise at the Deva with the Seals just four points away from National League North leaders Chorley.

But Gavin Cowan says his side will be going there with the intention to wreck the party - and despite losing their last two games says there is no shortage of belief.

“We are going there and win, that’s the aim,” said Cowan in an interview with the Shropshire Star.

“We know that it’s going to be a very tough game against a very efficient team.

“But even though we’ve lost our last couple of games in the league to Altrincham and Bradford PA we’re in a good place.”
