Bucks Eyeing Extra Step As They Add Another

AFC Telford United have confirmed midfielder Henry Cowans will continue with the club for another season.

Despite being sidelined for two months earlier in the season, Cowans played a huge part in the Bucks’ play-off push.

He now joins a number of the club’s other players to sign on for what they hope will be another big season.

Ellis Deeney, Andy Wycherley and Marcus Dinanga have all agreed terms along with Chris Lait who joins from Tamworth.

It’s all part of the long-term vision boss Gavin Cowan has for the club.

“We have revived the club here and given it its soul back,” he told the Shropshire Star.

“You can’t look forward or dwell on the past, but you need one eye on the future.

“But it is going to be a longer term project now through the next couple of years.”
