Tuesday night’s live home game with FA Halifax Town marks the first of seven consecutive home matches.
It’s not a case of overkill at the Racecourse, the north Wales die-hards have waited quite some time for a campaign like this.
The supporters know they are big title outsiders, currently sitting eleven points adrift of leaders Stockport County with twelve games remaining.
Saturday’s timid draw at Bromley wasn’t a bad point by any means, but when the table toppers just can’t stop winning any game you don’t feels like another nail in the title coffin.
Halifax are no fools, four points ahead of them and despite Wrexham’s riches they are the ones better placed to pounce on any potential Stockport stutter.
They have a score to settle too. A late, late Paul Mullin goal grabbed a 2-1 win in November, pictured, and manager Phil Parkinson is expecting this game to be a similar.
"The game at the Shay was a very good game, two good teams with no quarter given,” he said. “I think this game will be exactly the same.
"It's going to have an edge to it and there'll be a good crowd. There'll be two teams who want to get the ball down and play and I think it'll be a good game.
"We are on a good run," added Parkinson. “On Saturday we just dipped below where we’d like to be but we’ve got to get back on it on Tuesday and make sure we raise the energy levels, and raise the intensity of our play - but I do think the pitch played a part in that.
Pete Wild is pleased as punch with his players after five wins in a row.
It’s four clean sheets out of five too after second-half goals from Billy Waters and Gerry McDonagh saw to Torquay United at the weekend.
As good as Halifax are to watch going forward, he reserved special praise for his back-line.
"15 clean sheets in 32 games is why we're doing well, but five wins in a row is a real credit to the players because it's these runs that'll count come the end," he told the Halifax Courier.
"I said to the players after the game that teams will come and frustrate us, teams will find ways and go the extra mile to try and stop you because of the position we're in, and we'd do the same if the boot was on the other foot.
"So we just had to be patient, remember what we are and just give the best version of us."
