By Steve Whitney

BT Sport have added another fixture from the Vanarama National League to screen live on Saturday, December 9th.

Kicking-off at 12.30pm, BT Sport will show the match from the Moss Rose between high-flying pair Macclesfield Town and Wrexham.

The Silkmen were relegated back to the National League in 2011/12 after originally winning a place in the Football League back in 1997, but the best finishing position they have achieved since then is sixth in 2014/15.

The Welsh Dragons dropped out of the League at the end of the 2007/08 season and came close to winning their place back on three occasions since by being losing play-off semi-finalists in 2011 and 2012 and then came even closer the following campaign when they were beaten in the Promotion Final at Wembley when Newport County won the first all-Welsh final.

Both will be keen to maintain their current good form and be up amongst the challengers again come April.
