Brown's Delight As Sutton Reach The Summit

Sutton United's goalkeeping coach Seb Brown, was delighted with the way the side played after they left Yorkshire with all three points after beating Guiseley 2-0 and went top of the table.

A 2-0 win moved the U's to first and means they have lost only twice in the league since mid-September, writes Tom Feaheny.

Goals from Craig Dundas and Tom Bolarinwa ensured their journey back down south was an enjoyable one.

"We are delighted with the performance and result, we knew it wasn't an easy place to come and play against, we fought for it and deserved the win," Brown said.

"It is so important to stay in the pack, nether mind being top of the league, we didn't want to be leaving the game with back to back loses.

"They have missed a penalty and had a good chance at the end, it wasn't easy, it was a tough game, at 2-0 you have a decision to make, we had a game plan and it worked

"The support has been incredible, it has really helped us, so many have come to Guiseley, the fans know we will give our all on the pitch and they give their all in the stands.

"It's interesting to just focus on ourselves, one loss in just over two months shows the momentum we have."
