Harriers are now unbeaten in seven league matches after defeating Farsley Celtic on Saturday, securing three points on their own turf for the first time since August.
Just seconds after coming on, Ben Beresford grabbed the all-important goal as he rebuilds his season following nearly three months out.
It was the third time in four matches the former Hull and Bolton boss' team had won by that scoreline and now they’re fourth, four points off leaders Chorley with a game in hand.
They could go within a point of top spot on Tuesday night.
“Arsenal under George Graham used to win 1-0 all the time, and that’s kind of stuck,” Brown said.
“They’re certainly a changed club now. There’s nothing wrong with a 1-0 mentality when it pays off and it certainly is lately.
“The result is all I was bothered about, to get the winning formula and to get that winning mentality back at Aggborough.
“OK, we scraped through but it could have been a lot more. We deservedly got over the line.”
A win in midweek at home to South Shields will take Kidderminster even closer to their target.
“There are some very decent and very strong teams in this division,” the manager warned.
“There’s tactical battles you have to understand. South Shields are managed by someone who has made his name in academy football, so we’re going to be in for a big challenge.
“But we’re at home in front of our fans, so bring it on.”
